We have ten talented and dedicated teachers on staff who have educational backgrounds in Early Childhood Education or closely related fields. Preschool teachers are required to hold a teaching certificate. All teachers are required to obtain 12 clock hours of trainings annually and are certified in CPR and First Aid.

Curriculum & Assessment

Creative Nursery and Preschool utilizes the Creative Curriculum, which is a research-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum that guides how the environment is set up as well as the types of play and learning experiences the children participate in throughout the week.

  • Our 2-year old daughter has gone to Creative Nursery and Preschool since January 2011. It has been an amazing experience for her and our family, and I would highly recommend CNAP to anyone who is looking for a daycare or preschool. Our daughter has excelled under the care of Erica and her wonderful assistants. The meals, the artwork, the books, the toys and the friends have helped our daughter thrive and develop.

  • I highly recommend CNAP. We have been part of the CNAP "family" for about two years, and it really is more of a family than a daycare. My son has thrived there, learning new things on a daily basis. I love that when I send him off each day that he will be fed wholesome meals, given plenty of individual attention, take part in planned developmental activities, and be surrounded by loving caregivers. I truly believe that Erica and her staff really care about the children, and am confident that my son is in the best hands possible. I can't express how grateful I am to have found such a wonderful place.

  • We would recommend Creative Nursery and Preschool to all existing parents or parents to be. Our son has been part of their curriculum since 2009. We’ve seen consistent developmental growth as well as improved social interaction. Mornings are a breeze because he loves attending “school” each day and spending time with his friends / enjoying each day’s activities. As parents we are able to monitor his progress through weekly activity calendars that are distributed by CNAP, as well as daily progress reports handed out to each parent upon pickup. As the children age, CNAP works diligently to transition them to age appropriate learning programs, food experiences, bathroom procedures, etc. The assistance CNAP has provided is comforting, and allows us the opportunity to enjoy being new parents!

  • Creative Nursery and Preschool (CNAP) has provided us with everything we were lacking at our former daycare center and then some. Erica not only cares deeply about the children in her care, but is also a mom who knows how delicate and important the service she provides can be to a parent. The meals that Erica provides the children at CNAP are healthy, often local or organic and always above and beyond the guidelines she is required to meet. The staff at CNAP is also exceptional. I have recommended Erica and CNAP to many families that I know because it is the best childcare out there.

  • I have had a truly amazing experience with CNAP and wholeheartedly recommend Erica and her staff. The environment is exceptional, the meals are thoughtfully prepared, the curriculum is fun and challenging and I'm confident that everyday my little two-year old really enjoys being there. In fact, when I drop her off in the mornings, she says, "we're home!"
